🎉💙 Celebrating the Child Guardian Unit's 2nd Birthday! 💙🎉

We were honoured to be invited to the Child Guardian Unit's 2nd Birthday Celebration, which was fittingly held during Child Protection Week.

The Child Guardian Unit continues to do incredible work in protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in crisis. In just two years, they have successfully conducted over 150 interventions, making a real and lasting difference in the lives of children across our communities. We salute their dedication, compassion, and commitment to safeguarding those who need it most.

God's Little Treasures is proud to partner with the Child Guardian Unit through The Mommy Project, where together we support abandoned and vulnerable babies, as well as women we encounter at hospitals and clinics who are facing difficult circumstances.

Our team of ladies thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the opportunity to connect with the many amazing people who share a heart for protecting children — including social workers, Safe Adults, NGOs, security companies, and other community stakeholders who work tirelessly to support vulnerable children and families.

Thank you to the Child Guardian Unit for allowing us to be part of your journey. We look forward to continuing this important partnership and making an even greater impact together.

💜 COMMUNITY OUTREACH – WE NEED YOUR HELP 💜

As the winter chill sets in, many vulnerable newborn babies and mothers are facing difficult circumstances. At God's Little Treasures, we are reaching out to our community to help us provide warmth, comfort, and hope to those who need it most.

We are urgently collecting:

🍼 Winter babygrows (newborn & prem sizes)
🍼 Vests (newborn & prem sizes)
🧸 Baby blankets
🧷 Nappies (sizes 1 & 2)
🧴 New and unopened toiletries

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us care for precious little lives and support families in need.

What a special and meaningful few weeks spent learning and growing together through baby massage training. 💛👶

The caregivers at Impilo, together with two ladies from God’s Little Treasures, recently completed a five-week baby massage training course presented by the wonderful Tamryn McMillan, who so generously volunteered her time and expertise to give back to the community.

Baby massage is such a gentle yet powerful tool that can help soothe trauma, relieve colic and congestion, and strengthen bonding and emotional well-being in little ones. 🍼✨

A heartfelt thank you to Impilo for providing the venue and creating such a welcoming space.

Together, we are learning new ways to provide nurturing, loving care to vulnerable babies. 🌸

A heartfelt thank you to Dawn and the wonderful ladies from Inner Wheel for your generous donation. 💛

Because of your kindness, we were able to bless 67 children at Treeofhope Nursery School with warm jerseys and beanies to help keep them cosy during the colder days ahead. 🧶🧥

Seeing the smiles on their faces was truly special, and it is through the support of caring hearts like yours that we are able to continue making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
