[In Pictures, 29 May 2026] – The African National Congress (ANC) in the Musa Dladla Region today intensified its Online Voter Registration Campaign at the uMfolozi TVET College (eShowe Campus) under the uMlalazi Sub-Region, as part of the ongoing build-up towards the 2026 Local Government Elections.

Scores of ANC volunteers, activists and ground forces descended on the campus to assist students and young people with online voter registration, whilst mobilising communities to actively participate in the forthcoming Open Voter Registration Weekend scheduled for 20–21 June 2026.

The campaign further encouraged eligible voters to verify their voter registration status, update voting station details where necessary, and ensure that new registrations are completed ahead of the elections.

The programme was attended by ANC NEC Member Cde David Mahlobo, together with ANC KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Task Team Members Cde Sibongiseni Dhlomo, Cde Nomusa Dube-Ncube and Cde Mduduzi Mhlongo, who engaged with students and volunteers on the strategic importance of youth participation in strengthening democratic governance and advancing the developmental agenda of the movement.

The ANC remains steadfast and resolute in deepening democracy, consolidating the participation of young people in the electoral process, and ensuring that every eligible citizen exercises their hard-won democratic right to vote.
