Today, the African National Congress in Msukaligwa continued to demonstrate that the power truly belongs to the people. Following our invitation to the community of Ward 01 (Papa Nkabinde Branch) , we successfully convened the ANC Candidate Selection Community Meeting at Ithafa Comprehensive School.

the residents of Ward 01 came out in their numbers. This turnout proved that our democracy remains alive and rooted in the will of our communities.

The ANC remains the only revolutionary movement that directly involves the community in choosing its local representatives. Your presence today ensured a fair, transparent, and rigorous verification process using the IEC voters roll.

By working hand-in-hand with our people, we ensure that those who lead are directly accountable.

We want to extend our revolutionary gratitude to every resident who took the time to bring their ID documents, participate in the processes, and make their voices heard. The journey toward total transformation and better service delivery requires all of us to walk side-by-side.

Let us continue to defend the gains of our freedom and build a better Msukaligwa.

Earlier today, the movement successfully convened at iThafa Comprehensive School for the Ward 01 Papa Nkabinde Branch Candidates Selection BGM. It was encouraging to see our dedicated ANC members turn out in large numbers to help shape our future leadership, and we commend the discipline and unity displayed by our volunteers, branch structures, and members on the ground. Robust democratic processes like these are the lifeblood of our movement, ensuring we select capable, community-rooted leaders who are committed to accelerating service delivery and advancing the National Democratic Revolution. [In Photos] Today, 22 May 2026, our Letsema service delivery programme took center stage in Wesselton, Wards 3 and 6. This initiative is all about visible, practical action and living up to our commitment to the residents of Msukaligwa. True progress only happens when we work hand-in-hand with our communities, which is why our Technical Services teams focused heavily on patching potholes, painting road markings, and regravelling surfaces to make driving safer and more accessible for everyone. At the same time, we partnered with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment to clear out multiple illegal dumping sites and clean up our local parks and open spaces. Together, we are building the cleaner, safer, and more dignified neighbourhoods that the people of Wesselton truly deserve.
