DON’T LET OUR GEM DISAPPEAR.

🌳Save the Dlinza Aerial Boardwalk. Save our Tourism. Save our Town.

Example: ONE wedding fills B&Bs, guests shop at Grocery stores, last minute Clothing shoppers, someone gets sick and needs meds from a Pharmacy, Grocery stores get sales to supply the wedding Caterers, local Vendors gets business who spend it in eshowe...it is a huge snowball effect - this is just ONE wedding. When hosting events, markets, golf days etc it attracts guests from all over. We lose an attraction, we all lose.

So much birding at the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk. Just before 7 this morning Nomusa went through to the bird hide o clean the water and put some birdseed down. She heard what she though was a large bird moving in the trees, but she couldnt locate anything. meanwhile Madoda, the Boardwalk security, was watching 2 eastern bronze-napped pigeons sitting in a tree just near the parking area.
And then to great excitement without a sound besides the 'whoosh' of the crowned eagle wings, which came out of no-where, as it swooped in, clawed one of the stunned pigeon pair and flew off. the remaining pigeon was heard lamenting in shock.

What a morning! It's all happening at the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk. It's really worth a visit.

This period before the arrival of the spring rains is possibly the best time to see the most birds and forest creatures. The crackling dry leaves give your ears the chance to hear movement quickly and locate the Robin, Spotted Ground Thrush or the blue duiker and other birds very quickly. The visibility of birds in the tree tops is a bonus before the spring leaf growth is encouraged by the rain.
Come visit soon. We are opening from 6 AM - 4 PM from 1 September! Free Boardwalk tours with the purchase of your entrance ticket. Just pre-book if you don't want to miss out, phone 035 474 4029.
