Description: The Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality is a Category B municipality situated within the uThukela District in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. It is the smallest of the three municipalities in the district, but makes up a third of its geographical area. It was established by the amalgamation of the Imbabazane and uMtshezi Local Municipalities in August 2016. The majorit
y of the municipality's population is concentrated in urban and farming areas, but there are a few patches of high-density settlements within the informal areas. The municipality boasts well-established industrial, commercial and residential areas, as well as rich agricultural farmlands.
