Are you an entry-level environmental professional looking for hands-on experience? NCC-Group is seeking five Environmental Technicians for a 12-month freelance contract to support exciting film and events projects in the Western Cape.

In this role, you will provide ad hoc environmental compliance support, advising clients in line with South African legislation. You will assist in drafting EMPs/Method Statements, monitor contractors on-site, and compile essential project reports. While this is an entry-level position, you will receive full support and guidance to help you manage compliance and stakeholder relations effectively.

What we’re looking for:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Nature Conservation, Environmental Management, or Environmental Sciences.
Location: Must reside within a 40km radius of Cape Town.
Driving: Valid driver’s license and reliable transport are essential (4x4 experience is an advantage).
Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and after-hours, as project needs arise.
Skills: Strong English report-writing skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse clients.
