SASCO HOSTS SUCCESSFUL POLITICAL MOVIE NIGHT EDUCATION AS A TOOL FOR CONSCIENTIZATION

Last night, SASCO successfully hosted a Movie Night for students on campus.
This was not just entertainment. It was a deliberate act of political education.
As SASCO, we understand that the struggle does not only happen in lecture halls and during protests, but also in the ideological battleground. We used the movie night as a tool to conscientize, to unite, and to remind students that as the working-class youth, our stories matter and our unity is our weapon.
The turnout was overwhelming and proved one thing students are hungry for progressive programs that speak to them. Students are tired of a dead campus life where management only cares about academic exclusion and fee increments, not about student social cohesion and mental well-being.
We created a safe, free, and inclusive space for students to relax, interact and learn outside the pressures of academia - something this management has failed to do. Where management commercializes every space, SASCO provides community.
We thank all students who came in numbers and engaged with revolutionary discipline. This is the beginning of many more programs aimed at reviving student life and building a politically conscious student populace.
SASCO will continue to be the home for all students, both inside and outside the classroom. We lead, others follow.
