Today we are in Tsakane conducting by-law enforcement operations and ensuring compliance across businesses and public spaces. These inspections are critical in maintaining order, protecting consumers, and ensuring that all establishments operate within the framework of the law.

We are working closely with our law enforcement agencies to address non-compliance, promote adherence to municipal regulations, and create a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for our communities.

As part of our ongoing by-law enforcement operation in Tsakane, we conducted inspections across all stalls and Spaza shops, to ensure full compliance with municipal regulations.

These inspections are important to ensure that all traders—across every sector—operate within the required legal, health, and safety standards. We remain committed to working with all stakeholders to promote compliance, safeguard public health, and support a fair and regulated trading environment for everyone.

Such non-compliance poses serious risks, particularly in terms of sanitation, public health, and proper waste management. Immediate steps are being taken to address this violation in line with the law, and the necessary enforcement actions will follow.
