The MCF Ground Forces and Team of Volunteers, on the 1st June 2026, spent three hours (11h00AM- 14h00PM doing door to door work in Joza.
The reception was very warm and encouraging.
All citizens of Makana are hungry for change, and that โNew Peopleโs Agenda for Changeโ is led by MCF.
The MCF has done exceptionally well in fighting for all citizens of Makana.
Makana Municipality before 2021 had a two-party system where only ANC and DA were running the city with the ANC having the majority seats.
The DA held certain wards as it is the case now, where DA holds wards 4 and 8.
When the MCF arrived at City Hall, we radically shaped and changed that City Hall by holding everyone accountable, challenging all unlawful decisions, and opposing any item related to irregular, wasteful and unauthorized expenditure.
Without MCF, Makana would have moved from bad to worse.
We are there to serve the people and fight for their rights, including businesses evidence is clear.

In 2018. ANC approved a payment of R2.6-Million to a company with no engineering expertise and without any specialization in water pumps.
They approved this expenditure without checking the credentials of the company.
When no water pump was delivered, the ANC charged former Director Infrastructure and Engineering, who became a scapegoat.
She won her case at the Bargaining Council.
The Council was ordered to pay her over R600 000.
On 11 December 2024, after we were reinstated by the Electoral Court, the Special Council received a report. We proposed the matter be referred to the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC), which is empowered by law in terms of the MFMA (Section 32) of Act 56 of 2003 to investigate.
Both ANC and DA opposed our proposal, instead, they voted together to approve the payment. That left MCF with no other option but to lay criminal charges.
The investigator from Hawks has provided feedback to MCF as a complainant that the investigation has been concluded and finalized, and the docket is now with the senior prosecutor for a final decision.
In the history of Makana, no other organization or party has done what we have done.
The MCF took the great water disaster and crisis seriously.
We collected 22000 signed petitions and made a submission to the President demanding that President places Makana Water and Sanitation under the national department of water and sanitation, secondly, to institute a forensic investigation into over R600-Million, tender rigging, procurement fixes, fraud and corruption and to create 7500 jobs for locals.
No other party has achieved what we have achieved
No one had a plan for what to do about this great water disaster and crisis.
When MCF is voted into power, we shall use our majority in the Council to force Makana Municipality to join MCF as the main applicant to take both national department, minister, and president to court and secure court order forcing President to intervene in Makana Great Water Disaster and Crisis.
We dare not fail all citizens of Makana.
