Today, the Fort England Psychiatric Hospital Social Work Department, together with our dedicated multidisciplinary team, proudly dedicated their 67 Minutes for Mandela Day to serving the Salem Crossroads Centre community.

Through a heartfelt soup kitchen initiative, the team shared warm meals, hope, and words of encouragement with the residents, reminding us all that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.

As we honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela, we remain committed to serving our communities with compassion, dignity, and care. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, generosity, and hearts to making this initiative a meaningful success.

Connection & Brotherhood: Fostering environments where men feel safe seeking support and relying on their peers.

Education & Advocacy: Expanding understanding of men's health across all life stages, not just later in life.

Collective Responsibility: Involving families, healthcare systems, and society to fight the stigma against men seeking mental healthcare.
