Last Sunday , we had an impromptu braai here at home. It was quite heart warming to see how the guys pulled together and really had a good time. Some of our guys really went out of their way to braai for us, made salads and shared cold drinks. We really do have some kind brothers that work behind the scenes, away from the cameras that make the Ark a little better. Thanks Errol, Richard and everyone that put kindness to work!

Happy Thursday Everybody! Todays verse, Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"
For everyone doing through disappointment and loss, take heart, as God hears all your sorrows and knows your pain. God’s heart is to restore us to wholeness. When we need healing for our bodies, minds, or spirits, God’s Word provides answers for our afflictions. Scriptures on healing give us a new perspective of hope and comfort. Rest and read God’s Word knowing that it will speak into your situation today.

Todays scripture is 2 Corinthians 1:10 - "He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us."

Past Deliverance: Paul writes about a severe trial or deadly danger they faced in Asia that felt like a death sentence.
Present and Future Hope: Because God already saved them once, Paul and his companions trust that God will keep on saving them through future hardships.
Reliance on God: The difficult experience taught them not to rely on their own strength, but on God, who even has the power to raise the dead

The relationship between knowledge and evil often centers on the biblical concept of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, where acquiring knowledge through disobedience introduced moral corruption and suffering.

Moral Autonomy: Most Scholars agree that the phrase "knowledge of good and evil" signifies humanity gaining the ability to define right and wrong independently rather than trusting God's standard.
Experiential Reality: Before disobedience, Adam and Eve knew good and evil intellectually through God's command; after eating the fruit, they gained a painful, experiential knowledge of evil and guilt.
Rebellion vs. Information: The wrong was not in the acquisition of neutral facts, but in the act of rebellion and distrust that sought independence from divine guidance.😔
