Lesotho Immigration to South Africa

I have visited Dept of Home Affairs in Phuthaditjhaba.

Not surprising Lesotho Immigration to SA is a very difficult and expensive process. For children it will usually involve taking a DNA test at the applicant's expense.

I am sorry to tell you that although they do public outreach they refuse to do it for a political party. The fact that DA has a minister of Home Affairs, does not give us a special deal. It should not.

The Dept has contracted a third party ( VRS) to issue certain documents. You can submit these documents on line.

If you feel you are being cheated, feel free to ask the Greeter at Home Affairs Phuthaditjhaba, Nte Ramosoeu for advice. If you don't come right contact the DA and we will go with you to Home Affairs. But believe me we do not have a special hot line. The DA works for everyone, not just DA members. That is how it should be.
