With Electricity LoadShedding a reality, that’s here to stay for the foreseeable, this “event” is designed to make it easier for all Members of Hout Bay, to remain updated, in Real Time, as to when LoadShedding affects our village. The intention is to demystify the issues, make it easier to understand, and theref

ore easier to plan for when the “Lights go out”. The Information sent by the Administrators of this “events” page, to you, the residents of Hout Bay, is derived from a number of sources, being Mobile Apps, Websites and online Schedules. Sometimes, Outages happen without any warning, and updates can and sometimes do get notified to us after the Outage has already started, in which case, you may be notified only after the outage has already started. Should you wish to remain updated, informed and ready for Outages, or remain updated as to the status of any Outages , please select “Like” and "Follow" on the home page , and thereafter, all updates and notifications will appear in your FB notifications page. Select “Share”, and invite other residents of Hout Bay to join this page, so that more and more members of Hout Bay are ready for the outages that do happen from time to time. Thankfully COCT had confirmed they are downgrading us so we are not impacted…
