On Tuesday evening we were incredibly privileged to hear directly from some of the students in our Student Support Scheme. They shared their first-year experiences: the challenges, the growth, and the impact this support has had on their journeys so far.

We were also inspired by a graduate of the programme, who reflected on his time in the scheme and his plans to pursue his honours. Hearing these stories firsthand was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

We are so proud of each of these students, of their courage, commitment, and determination. Thank you for trusting us with your stories and for reminding us of the real difference this project continues to make. 🌱✨

What a joy it was today to welcome our District Governor, Pam Rawbone, to the Hout Bay Eyethu Skate Park! 🎉 This vibrant space, built by the Hout Bay Rotary Club and opened in July 2019, has become a daily hub for youngsters from all ages and communities. A special thanks goes to Ziyaad’s Skate School, whose after-school programs not only keep the park buzzing but also equip these young people with valuable life skills and lessons for the future.
