📢 NOTICE TO ALL GAUTENG LIQUOR LICENCE HOLDERS

The Gauteng Liquor Board would like to inform all licence holders and industry stakeholders that revised liquor licensing fees will come into effect on 24 June 2026.

The adjustment applies to all liquor licence categories and forms part of efforts to align fees with inflation, strengthen regulatory enforcement, and promote responsible trading practices across Gauteng.

Licence holders are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new fee structure and ensure compliance when applying for or renewing their licences.

⚠️ Failure to comply with the updated fee structure may result in penalties, suspension, or cancellation of licences.

MEDIA STATEMENT | GAUTENG LIQUOR BOARD LICENCE FEE ADJUSTMENT

The Gauteng Liquor Board wishes to inform all liquor licence holders and stakeholders that liquor licence fees will increase by 7% across all licence categories, effective 24 June 2026. This marks the first fee adjustment in nine years and is aligned with the approved Gauteng Liquor Amendment Regulations, 2026.

Licence holders with renewals due on or after 24 June 2026 are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the revised fees and ensure compliance.
