The first post and the first book to go up will have to be one of my favourites.
THE KITE RUNNER.

“For you, a thousand times over”

Still gets me in tears every time.
The story starts us off in the USA but as the author goes on he takes us back to where it all started for the main protagonist, Amir.
Afghanistan.

Two young boys who grow up to be as close as brothers. Who had formed a kinship/brotherhood through feeding on the same breast!

Society however plays a big role in how that relationship blooms.
We get to see one of my favourite characters and my favourite Hazara.
Mr Hassan himself

Loyal as they come, filled with kindness.
And we get to witness the transformation of BABA and till now I didn't take his death well 😕😕
I still cry when he is mentioned.

It gives you your villains and my goit the author did a wonderful job on that.

It's a definite must-read.
I for one can't wait to read more of what the other has to offer.

My favourite part of the book is finding out how Hassan was doing after his encounter with Assaf.
I wept 😭
But then things happened, those things made the things to be done and I wept some more 😭😭

That being said, it's a wonderful book and I think everyone should read it.
