Speaking at the Conference of the Left, ACT President General called for the unification of progressive forces, arguing that organisations with similar ideological foundations cannot afford to remain divided while South Africa faces deepening social and economic challenges. The call was clear: where there is ideological alignment, there must be greater unity of purpose in advancing the interests of the people.

The ACT President General, together with the leadership of the African Congress for Transformation, joined progressive forces at the Conference of the Left hosted by the South African Communist Party (SACP). The gathering provided an important platform for dialogue on the future of South Africa, economic transformation, social justice, and building a people-centred developmental state.
