🏡 163 families. 163 homes. A new chapter begins.

Tomorrow, 19 August 2026, the Gauteng Department of Human Settlements, together with the National Department of Human Settlements and the City of Johannesburg, will hand over 163 houses to qualifying beneficiaries at the Lufhereng Mega Project in Soweto.

The handover will be led by Minister of Human Settlements Thembisile Simelane, Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements Tasneem Motara and Executive Mayor Dada Morero.

This is more than a house — it is about security, dignity and creating places that families can proudly call home. 🏠❤️
