RDP HOUSING SUBSIDY APPLICATIONS

If you are employed and earning less than R3,501 per month when applying for an RDP housing subsidy, ensure you attach your latest salary advice/payslip to your application.

A large number of applications are declined because applicants do not submit their latest payslip, or they sign an affidavit stating they are unemployed while UIF records reflect earnings. The Human Settlements system automatically declines applications where UIF earnings are detected but not declared.

To avoid delays or rejection of your RDP application:
1. Submit your most recent payslip with your application
2. Declare all income truthfully
3. Do not sign an unemployed affidavit if you are earning a salary

Accurate documentation secures your application and improves your chances of approval.
