Goodday , Just a quick update our home is 18 years old this month . Every year it gets more challenging with the economy and rising costs. Everything has just spirald out of control .

However this is an on going life saving project with a never ending story of care for these children that are left abandoned. is a national campaign aimed at promoting and protection the rights, safety and well-being of children in South Africa.

Good day to everyone, just an update,we have 3 new born babies. Well hope all is well with all out there.We at the Lighthouse continue to take care of the vulnerable babies and children. Again this morning SAPS phoned about a newborn that had been found in the veld. Last week we received 2 children also from social workers. So this problem is escalating .I just see an increase in the future months and years to come as life becomes more difficult and poverty increases. We accept all and any size clothes .Please drop off anytime that suits you. Always someone who will open the gate. God bless you all regards Eleanor . Well good day to everyone, it has been a whirlwind January ,back to school and trying to get our 2 matric graduates into some tertiary education. Thank you to all who have contributed in December making it a wonderful experience for the children. So we have kicked off 2026 with 2 babies ,once again having been abandoned, abused and neglected. However ,at least now they are safe and loved. We appreciate everything that the public do for our children.This year is 18 years and still counting.It has been a wonderful experience for me to have been able to care for the children all these years.I am always grateful for the strength and support.
