A huge congratulations to four of our talented runners who have qualified for the next round of the Gauteng LSEN Trials! 👏🏽

✨ Qualifiers:
GU/14 – Jazzlin Du Toit
GU/15 – Kayson Sanderson & Crystal Pauwels
BU/17 – Sthembiso Nkosi

📍 The trials will take place on 12 September at Curro School Midrand.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Cross Country Championship.

On 24 August, 14 of our athletes participated in the Cross Country Championship Meet at Belvedere School in Benoni.
We are incredibly proud to share that all 14 athletes improved on their performances from 17 August!
A special congratulations to 2 of our learners who achieved 3rd-place positions — an excellent achievement!
Well done to all our athletes for their hard work, dedication and determination. We’re so proud of you!

Well done to Frances Vorwerg’s para-athletes!

Our athletes competed at the first para-athletic trials of the season, held at Germiston Stadium on Saturday. They went up against competitors from across Gauteng in the race for selection to next year’s national championships.
Two more trials to go!
Congratulations to everyone who gave their best. Keep training hard and stay focused 💪🏻 we’re proud of you!

On Saturday the 22nd of August our marimba band performed in The Alberton Eisteddfod.

Two words come to mind when thinking about their performance and that is Marimba Magic!

Our marimba band brought the beat and had the audience tapping along! They showed great dynamics, played beautifully together, and kept that pulse going strong.

The adjudicators were impressed and so was the audience!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Keep making music, keep working together, and keep those marimbas singing! You’ve got rhythm, talent, and plenty of potential!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Cross Country – MID Gauteng League 🌟

Our athletes proudly competed in the first league event today, hosted by Elandspark School at Rietvlei Zoo Farm.

✨ Highlights from the day:
Boys U/17 (6km) and Girls U/17 (4km) opened the event with determination.
Boys U/19 (8km) showed grit in the longest distance.
Strong performances continued in the U/14, U/15, and U/16 categories, with both boys and girls racing 4km.

👏 Thank‑you to our coaches for preparing the team and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

We are proud of every runner who represented us today with courage, endurance, and team spirit. 💙
