Access to clean cooking has the power to improve health outcomes, support environmental sustainability and create better opportunities for communities.

EWSETA Executive: Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, Mr Teslim Mohammed Yusuf, joined industry leaders at the Fuels Industry Association Imbizo to discuss the role of LPG in expanding access to clean cooking solutions.

The discussion reflected on the momentum created through South Africa's G20 Clean Cooking Legacy Programme, championed by the Honourable Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, and the importance of partnerships, skills development and community education in supporting long-term success.

Clean cooking is about more than energy access. It is about improving lives.

EWSETA Board Member Ms Beki Moloi and Strategic Support Manager Mr Dickson Kutsawa attended the launch of Eskom Green, a key initiative supporting renewable energy growth and a sustainable energy transition.

The transition to a greener economy presents significant opportunities, but success will depend on developing the skilled workforce needed to power, maintain and innovate within these emerging industries.
