because how would someone travel across 7 Countries like a Chicken to go to South Africa illegally. These guys were arrested today in Zambia by our immigration en route to South Africa from Ethiopia.
Zambia will not be used as a Route for human trafficking. Our immigration is alert!

The final resting place of King Zwangendaba kaHlatshwayo, the founding father of the Ngoni people who passed away in 1848 and was the great great grandfather to the late Mpezeni IV, holds significance.

King Zwangendaba, son of Jere chief Hlatshwayo, led a clan of Nguni or abangoni people that broke away from the Ndwandwe Kingdom alliance under King Zwide. Following the defeat of the Ndwandwe forces under his command at the hands of Shaka, Zwangendaba gathered his clan and fled their home near the town of Pongola in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

His burial site is located in the Nakonde District of Muchinga Province, Zambia, specifically in Nachipeta Village near the Nachipeta School, just off the Nakonde-Mbala Road.

The buses transporting Malawians back home will only carry passengers and their small personal belongings, as they do not have trailers to accommodate large items such as refrigerators, furniture, or oversized bags. People with large belongings will be assisted by a truck service that will transport these items separately, for which a small transport fee will be charged. The truck carrying the belongings will travel directly to Blantyre, Malawi. Authorities have encouraged all passengers to make the necessary arrangements for their larger items before departure.

Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) will host Africa’s premier aviation connectivity conference as the country launches an ambitious Air Access Initiative and targets three million international visitors.

AviaDev Africa, the continent’s only dedicated air service development conference, today confirmed that Zambia will host AviaDev Africa 2027, with ZACL serving as the official host partner. The announcement marks a landmark moment for Zambia’s aviation sector, coinciding with the launch of a bold new Air Access Initiative - Airlift Zambia, designed to transform the country into a leading regional connectivity

To support this ambition, Zambia has committed K1.5 billion to the tourism sector in 2026, funding infrastructure development, wildlife conservation, destination marketing and the opening of remote tourism sites. Tourism already accounts for seven percent of national GDP, with the sector employing 473,000 people.

Urvesh Desai, Managing Director, Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) commented, “Zambia is at a crucial moment in its aviation story. We have the infrastructure, the ambition and the government support, what we need now is the world’s airlines to see for themselves why Zambia deserves a place on their network maps.

ZULU / NGUNI TEFUYA LANGUAGE

The phrase "zulu tefuya" (often spelled Tefula or tefula) refers to a historical dialectical variation of standard isiZulu. Historically spoken by certain Nguni and Qwabe clans, the Tefula dialect replaces the standard isiZulu "l" sound with a "y" sound, and shifts some "ny" sounds to "n".

Tefula speakers historically transformed the standard "l" (like in lala - to sleep) into a "y" (like yaya).

The People: This dialect was closely associated with tribes in the Natal and Zululand regions, notably the amaQwabe and some Mtetwa groups.

Classification: It is classified alongside isiXhosa and isiLala as one of the regional Nguni language varieties.
