The ANC's work is visible, and the volunteers keep raising the flag high. Today, the Community Hall VD of Ward 23 was on the ground, supported by SANCO and the Youth League. It is yet another fruitful day of collecting information about our community's needs and where we should improve. This is the kind of conversation we need to be having in order to know where and how to fix our local government as we prepare for the local government elections. Iqabane Ali Pheli'moya. Amandla!!

Integrated Provincial Safety and Service Delivery Imbizo | Khutsong Stadium

Tomorrow, 03 September 2026, we welcome the Gauteng Provincial Government, led by Premier Panyaza Lesufi, to Khutsong Stadium, Merafong City, for the Integrated Provincial Safety and Service Delivery Imbizo.

This important engagement brings government closer to the people, creating a platform to address community safety, service delivery challenges and infrastructure concerns, while strengthening accountability and coordinated action across all spheres of government.

Today, we celebrate a milestone that Cde Mzi Khumalo worked hard to achieve — his Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Pretoria.

It is a bittersweet moment because he should have been here to wear the gown, walk across the stage and receive the qualification he earned. Instead, we celebrate him in his absence and honour the determination, discipline and commitment that brought him to this day.

Cde Mzi leaves behind more than a qualification. He leaves behind a legacy of service, leadership, mentorship and an unwavering belief in people.

Today, we say congratulations, Cde Mzi.
Your achievement is yours forever, and your legacy will live on in those whose lives you touched.

TODAY: ANC volunteers of Ward 23 went on a door-to-door program where they were able to engage the community and record the challenges they are facing. This will be an ongoing event leading up to the LGE 2026. The ANC is committed to improving the quality of life of our community and service delivery.

We were joined by our Branch Treasurer, Cde Nopopi; Ward 23 SANCO members; ANCYL RWC, Cde Phumlani Mdingi; ANCYL members; and ANCWL members.
