On August 27, our TCE Sekhukhune team hosted a quarterly engagement session with the South African Police Service (SAPS) to address the unique challenges our beneficiaries face when reporting human rights violations and accessing justice. This open dialogue focused on breaking down stigma and discrimination, tackling violence, and removing barriers that prevent key populations from seeking law enforcement assistance. Together, we are working to strengthen collaboration, streamline referral pathways, and foster a rights-based, respectful environment across all SAPS stations. Engagements like this are vital to building strong relationships with duty bearers, ensuring that our beneficiaries feel safe, respected, and supported every step of the way

On 31 August 2026, we were honored to host Dr. Ntayiya, CEO of the For Community Impact (CCI), at the TCE Sekhukhune Safe Space in Burgersfort. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for open dialogue, giving our leadership team a direct view of our progress, achievements, and ongoing interventions in the province. During the tour, Dr. Ntayiya met with our team to discuss project updates, address implementation challenges, and explore ways to strengthen service delivery. A key highlight was the interactive session in the hotspot, where beneficiaries shared first-hand experiences, celebrated positive impacts, and voiced suggestions for future services. To top off the day, the visit concluded at Child Aid Tubatse, where we showcased our community development model in action. Thank you to Dr. Ntayiya and the CCI team for engaging with our staff and community.
