Our Fun Run on Sunday 21 December 2025 was a wonderful success, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community 🌊👟

Happy New Year! 🎉✨

A huge thank you to the ''Walkie Talkies'' group for organising a beach walk early December to raise funds for Child Welfare Kenton/Bushmans. 🙌🏖️

They also hosted a beautiful Christmas carol service on the 5th – and thanks to the incredible generosity of the community, so many presents were donated to make Christmas extra special for our little ones. 🎁❤️

A big shoutout as well to the guests who enjoyed their Christmas lunch at the Goat Shed and kindly donated towards providing meals for those in need in our community. 🍽️💛

On 31st December, with the help of our wonderful Child Welfare Social Worker and Auxiliary Social Worker, over 80 meals were provided and presents handed out to the children on the same day. 🥰🎄

We wish we could share the beaming, happy faces of the children, but for privacy reasons their faces need to be covered in photos. Please know that behind every sticker is a smile, laughter and pure joy. Being part of such a caring and generous community is truly a blessing. 💕

🎄👟 Join us for the annual XMAS WALK in support of Child Welfare Kenton/Bushmans!

Our amazing local group, The Walkie Talkies, is hosting this special community walk on Saturday, 6 December 2025 — and everyone is welcome!

📍 Start: 6am at Buco Kenton

🗺️ Route: Buco → Bushmans Bridge → Bushmans river mouth → Shelleys → Mermaids Pool → Blue Pool → Middle Beach → Kariega Lagoon → back to Buco

💰 Cost: R100 per person (all proceeds go directly to Child Welfare)

👕 T-shirts: Available on the day for R150 !

After the walk, join us for a refreshing swim and warm coffee at Middle Beach ☕🏊‍♀️

💳 Payments can be made on the day — cash or card machine available.
