🚑 PREMIER DR ZAMANI SAUL TO OFFICIALLY HANDOVER 30 EMS VEHICLES

In an effort to strengthen our emergency fleet capacity for the Province. The Premier, together with the MEC will officially launch 30 EMS vehicles.

The Premier will handover these vehicles to the dedicated EMS personnel linked to healthcare facilities across the Province during a ceremony to be held tomorrow.

📍 SOD-TURNING FOR THE BATLHARO BA GA BAREKI ADMINISTRATION PRECINCT

Despite the rain, the Northern Cape Provincial Government led by Premier, Dr Zamani Saul, joined Kgosi P**e Bareki, the Traditional Council and community members in Heuningsvlei for the sod-turning ceremony marking the construction of a new state-of-the-art administration precinct.

The R12 million project will provide the Batlharo ba ga Bareki Traditional Authority with a modern administrative facility to better serve the community.

The Provincial Government is pleased with the progress on site and extends its sincere appreciation to Kgosi P**e Bareki and the Traditional Council for the warm reception.

[GRIQUAS MARCH INTO THE CURRIE CUP FINAL!] 🎉🥳🏉

The Suzuki Stadium in Kimberley erupted with celebration today as the Griquas defeated the ADT Lions in the Currie Cup semifinal to secure their place in the final!

During the match, Northern Cape Premier Dr Zamani Saul also pledged R2 million to the Griquas Women’s Rugby Team in recognition of their outstanding achievement. The team was recently crowned champions of the SA Rugby Pick n Pay Women’s Second Division after defeating the Pumas in Nelspruit.

Premier Saul attended the match alongside the MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr Mangaliso Matika, and senior government officials.

The Northern Cape Provincial Government congratulates the Griquas on today’s victory and wishes them every success in the Currie Cup final. The entire province is behind you! 🏆🏉

PREMIER DR. ZAMANI SAUL OFFICIATES OVER SOD TURNING OF R12.8 million STATE OF THE ART BA GA BAREKI TRADITIONAL COUNCIL OFFICE

The Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul accompanied by the MEC for CoGHSTA, MEC Lebogang Motlhaping and MEC responsible for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, MEC Mirriam Kibi joined Kgosi Bareki as well as the Batlharo Ba Ga Bareki Traditional Council in officially turning the sod at the site where the R12.8 million state of the art traditional council will be built.

Batlharo Ba Ga Bareki Traditional Council have been without a Traditional Council Office for over ten years, this after it was demolished because it was infested with Asbestos. The delegation received a full layout plan of the Ba Ga Bareki Traditional Council Office that is soon to be built.

The Office will include an auditorium, an amphitheatre, a traditional court and a youth centre.

In his remarks, the Premier reiterated Government’s commitment of building 5 traditional council offices for DiKgosi. Premier emphasised the good relations Government enjoys with DiKgosi and how this is valued by Government. The building of the Traditional council offices is inline with the commitment. Premier Saul further spoke to Government’s preparedness to welcome the Khoi and San Leaders in the traditional house once all processes were concluded.
