Hey everyone!

We are happy to share that yesterday (14/03/2023) we received a generous donation of books from KhalozaBooks. The books cover a wide range of topics and are in excellent condition.

A special thanks to Northern Cape Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul Page who also donated a collection of children's books.

Pictured is co-founding member, Ntesang Makutu and Dr. Zamani Saul.

We are thrilled to add 113 books to our collection, and we know that they will benefit the many residents of Kimberley who will now have access to them. We appreciate the time and effort that went into this donation and are grateful for the support.

We would like to thank Khaloza Books and Dr. Zamani Saul for their generosity and continued support of Eyethu Pop-up Library's vision to kick illiteracy in the chest. We can't wait to share these books with our reading community!

As the world celebrates World Book and Copyrights Day, we would love to extend gratitude to all the people who keep showing up at our pop-ups and book drives.

We have said it before that we could not have carried on with "kicking illiteracy in the chest", if it was not for the consistent love that you (our readers and book donors) show! 🙇

A special thank you to all the parents and guardians who bring their young ones to our pop-ups! We love seeing young ones reading and donating books (Yes, young ones also donate their books!) 😂😂😂 It is amazing!

We cannot stop basking in the love that we receive from our readers, parents, different organisations and institutions from all over the country!

When we thought that Eyethu Pop-up Library only serves the community of Kimberley, the love that we constantly receive is an indication that this work is for all people in this beautiful country!

We say beautiful, because the love that Eyethu has creates beautiful experiences! 💛💛💛
