SOUTH32 PARTNERSHIP REMOVES FINANCIAL BARRIERS FOR SPU GRADUATES

For graduates held back by historical student debt, financial relief means more than a cleared account. It means collecting their qualifications, entering the workplace and continuing their studies.

Through the Historic Student Debt Relief Initiative, South32 and Sol Plaatje University are restoring hope and opening new possibilities for beneficiaries whose academic and professional journeys were delayed by outstanding fees.

RESPONSIBLE AI. STRONGER TEACHING. GREATER STUDENT SUCCESS.

SPU has joined the Digital Education Council, a global community of higher education institutions advancing digital innovation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

What does this mean for our students?

Clearer guidance on where and how artificial intelligence may be used in assessments, lecturers who are better equipped to guide its responsible use, and digital learning that responds to the connectivity realities many SPU students face.

The aim is for technology to strengthen learning and contribute to student progression and graduation, rather than simply offer convenience.
