Recycling buyback centres are not-for-profit projects that survive on donations and volunteerism. Members bring waste to a shop in return for much needed consumer goods.

Let us know if you would be interested in donating to or supporting a local recycling buyback centre! ♻️ ♻️ ♻️

Reduce, reuse, recycle... Say it again... In fact, make it a mantra! 🙏 ♻️

1. When you go shopping, think twice about what you purchase. If you don't really need it, don't buy it.
2. Before throwing away something that you may consider waste, take a second look and think about ways that you can reuse it.
3. Find out what your local recyclers accept and start recycling. You can do it at home, at school, at church and even at work!

Nondwe and Noluthando really know how to embrace the catwalk. We are so proud of our beautiful ladies, who celebrated International Women's Day in Royal Ascot style! Who ever thought that women who work in the waste industry can't dress up?

Visit our depot any day, and you will find our ladies working hard with their lips and lashes on!

Contamination. You might have heard your local recycling guru say this word before, but what does it mean? 🌍♻️✅

It simply means that one type of recycling damages or dirties another, which means that it cannot be recycled. For example, if you do not rinse your plastic bottle and it leaks onto your paper. This is why it is important to keep your recyclables clean and separate them at source.
