Out on the streets today, fully active and present in the kasi, doing what needs to be done to bring back order and safety. This is not just a patrol, it’s a mission — a mission to clean up our community, protect our people, and make sure that everyone can feel safe walking these streets again.

We are taking responsibility, standing up, and showing that change starts with us. No more sitting back while crime and nonsense take over — today we step in, we take action, and we make a difference. From early hours until late, we are moving around the kasi, keeping eyes open, addressing issues, and making sure that the message is clear: this community will not be controlled by crime.

We are doing this for the kids who deserve to grow up in a safe environment, for the families who want peace in their homes, and for everyone who believes that our kasi can be better. Step by step, street by street, we are cleaning up and restoring pride where it belongs.

Today is just another reminder — when we come together and stand firm, nothing is impossible. Our kasi, our responsibility.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Earlier This week, we received a distress call from Kwa-Thema Skills School. The principal reported a break-in where several valuable items were stolen, including musical instruments, a plasma nails machine, and—most concerning—students’ academic work containing their quarterly results.

Our team immediately launched an investigation. Through swift action and strong teamwork, we were able to identify a lead that led us to the suspect. The culprit was successfully apprehended, and most of the stolen items were recovered.

Unfortunately, some of the items had already been sold to Cash Crusaders. However, we managed to obtain the proof of sale, and arrangements are in place to recover those items on Monday.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone involved in this operation:
✔️ KKS Anti-Crime Unit
✔️ Kwa-Thema SAPS

Your dedication and commitment to protecting our community do not go unnoticed.

Let this be a strong message: crime will not be tolerated. Together, we will continue to stand firm and protect our community.

Kwa-Thema will never be the same again. Yesterday we took it upon ourselves to patrol the streets of our kasi, and it turned out to be a very successful mission. During the patrol we managed to remove a few knives from the streets, making our community a little safer. Let’s just say the individuals involved also received a few ‘dance lessons’ to remind them that crime doesn’t pay. Step by step, we are taking our streets back….
