⚠️ *Copper Theft Suspects Apprehended In The Earlsfield Area, Newlands West This Morning By Members of KZNVIP*

Whilst on routine patrol In the Earlsfield Area KZNVIP Officers noticed thick black smoke near one of the homes and went to investigate the veld area, as they approached 2 African Males burning Copper attempted to flee but were successfully taken down by KZNVIP.

Suspects were found in possession of thick Copper used in cables which are underground and belong to the Municipality valued more than R10000.

After a lengthy period of time the suspects were transported to the Newlands Police station where saps officials were unable to charge the suspects for being in possession of stolen goods and demanded a complainant, after hours of calling we managed to arrange Municipal officials to come to the station and open a criminal case.

The suspects have been arrested and detained

Yesterday, our vigilant Strike Force Unit successfully apprehended two suspects for fraud. Their scheme involved a Chevrolet bakkie with a fake license disc. The initial claim of innocence quickly unraveled during our investigation.

It was discovered that the suspects had acquired the fraudulent license disc through an individual in the Umlazi area, who charged an R800 fee for producing fake motor licenses disc. Suspects were processed at Durban Central South African Police Service Station.

We urge our community members to refrain from taking unlawful routes to acquire license discs. Engaging in such activities not only jeopardizes your legal standing but also puts the safety of our community at risk.

Durban Metro Police Service commitment to uncovering and addressing criminal activities remains unwavering. Together, let's ensure a safer community. Your cooperation is key in maintaining the integrity of our neighborhood

This Gang has been wanted for many killings to Security Personnel, business robberies.

Toyota Yaris that was going around in the Newlands, Inanda, Ntuzuma, Kwamashu areas for the past few months robbing and killing people was caught yesterday in Kwamashu B Section
