Vacancy: Code 10 Driver
Location: Cato Ridge & Pinetown- Durban

Our clients in the freight and logistics industry are seeking to employ the services of a code 10 driver.

The job entails some of the following tasks:
• Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
• Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines.
• Analyse delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain the schedule.
• Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately.
• Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
• Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure.
• Maintain the vehicle clean and safe

The successful candidate will need the following:
• Clear criminal record
• Valid Code 10 licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit / Dangerous Goods Permit / Hazchem.
• 3 years + of Truck driving experience. Super link or 3-Axle experience will be an added advantage.
• Medically fit
• Good understanding of English
• Must reside in the following areas: Hammarsdale, Cato Ridge, Pinetown, Hillcrest, Chatsworth, and other surrounding areas.

Code 10/14 Drivers with traceable references of 4 Years and more driving a Superlink truck for 4 years or more needed immediately.Between the ages of 18 - 59 years of age only.

Duties & Responsibilities

Must have worked for a major Retail company driving a refrigerated truck.

Must have a valid PDP / DGP

Desired Experience & Qualification

Certified I.D Copy

Certified Drivers licence with valid PDP / DGP

SARS letter with tax number

Bank confirmation letter not older than 3 months
