A proud moment for Redwood! ⚽️

Congratulations to Dhruv Pillay (U15) and Sabelo Buthelezi (U18), who have both been selected to represent KZN in soccer!

We’re proud of the hard work and dedication that has brought them to this point. Celebrating achievements like these is part of who we are, creating a culture where our learners are encouraged to work hard, pursue what they love, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Well done, boys! 👏

A beautiful collection of work from some of our talented young artists, selected for the Virginia Art Expo. 🎨

These pieces give us a glimpse into the imagination and individuality of our learners. We’re so proud of the way they express themselves and see the world in their own way.

A great day of sport for Redwood! ⚽️

We’re proud of the hard work and dedication our learners brought to their matches against Crawford International North Coast. We see their character growing through sport in the way they show up for each other, both on and off the field.

And a big congratulations to our boys on bringing the trophy home! We’re so proud! 🏆

Bubbles and textures 🫧

Sensory play is more than just fun. It gives little learners opportunities to explore different textures, movements and sensations, helping them build sensory awareness and develop important skills through hands-on play.

This Women’s Day, we remember the courageous women who stood together on 9 August 1956, using their voices to help shape the future of generations to come.

Today, we honour the women who continue to shape generations in their own unique ways. From those who inspire in our classrooms to the moms supporting learning at home, and the daughters, sisters and women who pray for us and hold space for us, your influence reaches further than you may ever know.

Thank you for the part you play in educating, encouraging and shaping the lives entrusted to you.

“Her children arise and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31:28

May the generations that follow be blessed by the faithful women who have gone before them.

Happy Women’s Day. 💛

An A is a photograph. Growth is the film.

It was a privilege for our Executive Headmaster, Vernon David, to be a keynote speaker at AEE’s 2026 Educational Leadership Summit. Our management team also had the opportunity to attend the Educational Leadership Summit and take away valuable insights from his session to bring back to our school.

Vernon challenged school leaders with one of the most important questions a principal can ask: What lies below the A?

The session encouraged school leaders to think differently about how to measure growth, recognise progress, and celebrate the journey of every learner.

We are inspired and encouraged that Redwood College La Lucia was able to lend its voice to the critical and ongoing conversations within Christian education.

Grade 1 is a big milestone for our learners... and their parents!

It was lovely to welcome our Grade 1 families last week as they learned more about the transition from Pre-Primary to Primary.

Of all the changes that come with starting Grade 1, saying goodbye to the special Pre-Primary parking might have been the toughest for our parents! 🚗

As our learners take this exciting next step, families can be confident that one thing remains unchanged: every child will continue to learn and grow in a Christ-centred environment where biblical values are woven into every school day.

We can't wait to welcome our newest Grade 1 learners next year!
