During 2001 the need for a reliable, totally legal, competent, compliant, fast and service orientated company in the Fire Fighting Field was identified. Thus, CAPRICORN FIRE & GENERAL CC was established to fulfill that need. By obtaining Registration by the S.A. Bureau of Standards, (SABS) S.A. Quality Control Council (S.A.Q.C.C), the Workman Compensation, S.A. Revenue Service and all relevant Statutory Bodies we strive (and will continue to do so) to present all clients (present and potential) with a capable and reliable service. As can be seen by the mission statement, the fundamental aim of this Company is “SERVICE EXCELLENCE AND PERFECTION” and no situation of reason warrants any deviation from this for any reason what so ever. SABS 1475 SPECIFICATIONS
As per SABS 1475 specifications all portable fire equipment has to be serviced in an approved workshop. Modern, up to date standby equipment is available when yours is removed. This equipment is also available in the event of an emergency. The guarantee period offered on serviced equipment is 1 year, provided that the equipment has not been tampered with. Note: All new equipment sold by CAPRICORN FIRE & GENERAL has a warranty of 1 year on condition that we annually service the equipment.
