Tomorrow, the District will hand over the Buntingville Water Supply Site in Nyandeni Local Municipality, marking another step in expanding access to reliable water services.

NYANDENI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY, ARTS & CULTURE FESTIVAL – LIBODE AUDITIONS DAY ONE DONE💃

On 03 September 2026, Nyandeni Local Municipality in partnership with DSRAC brought Arts & Culture auditions to Libode Town Hall in preparation for OR Tambo Arts and Culture Festival, providing a platform for talented artists to showcase their skills and creativity. 🌟
This was Day 1 of the Auditions in Nyandeni, therefore those who were not able to attend or rather participate today, tomorrow the Auditions will continue at Ndungunyeni (komkhulu) .

The auditions welcomed aspiring artists in various disciplines, including Dance, Drama, Music, Poetry/Storytelling and Comedy. 🎤🎭

The event created an exciting opportunity for local talent to be recognised, nurtured and given a platform to grow within the arts and culture sector.

👏 A big thank you to all the talented artists who came out to showcase their abilities and make the Libode auditions a success!
