FRIDAY, 29 MAY 2026

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Methodist Church for their generous donation of socks to our learners.

Your kindness and support mean a lot to our school community. Acts of giving like this bring warmth, dignity and encouragement to our children, especially during this season.

Thank you for caring for our learners and for making a positive difference in their lives. Together, we continue to build a caring and supportive community for every child.

The Department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation together with Boikhutso Community Library, in collaboration with Ditsobotla Public School, successfully hosted an African Day Celebration event.

The event was filled with excitement, cultural pride and unity as learners showcased their amazing talents through dance, music, poetry and cultural activities. Learners greatly benefited from the programme as it promoted African heritage, creativity and self confidence.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all stakeholders, organisers, educators, parents and learners who contributed towards making the event a great success. Together we continue to celebrate and preserve our rich African culture.

WEDNESDAY, 20 MAY 2026.

We are proud to announce that our school is part of the EduPlant Programme. 🌱 This is a two year cycle programme which educates learners about food gardening, food security, healthy living, and environmental care.

Three of our learners form part of the programme: Reatlegile Phoko, Resego Kuane, and Bokang Segwe. These learners will be spearheading the establishment of a massive garden project at our school, promoting sustainability and encouraging other learners to participate in agriculture and environmental protection.

Today, they attended the first workshop of the programme where they were introduced to permaculture, garden design, soil preparation, and sustainable food systems. We are proud of them for representing DPS with pride and enthusiasm.
