Ingquza sub-regional extended meeting convened by its convener (Busisiwe Mabhedumana), coordinator (Mvuyisi Mavutala) and all ward chairpersons and secretaries of Ingquza at Lusikisiki.

The purpose of the meeting is to report and equip all fighters with guidelines for elections

The EFF provincial leadership, sub-regional leadership, parents of the accused students and students outside of the court after a bail hearing of those students who were arrested.

The organisation managed to get students out on bail and the case will continue on 13th of April 2026.
The organisation will take further actions against the police who just shot at students who were just gathering outside the institution minding their business.

The EFF sub-regional leadership led by it’s secretary (fighter Mvuyisi Mavatulana), PCT member (fighter Busisiwe Mabhedumana), ward 21 sub-regional deployee (fighter Zamile Funda) and hundreds of students gathered outside the Lusikisiki magistrate court waiting for the release of students who we arrested yesterday.

The students of Ingwe Tvet college, Ngqungqushe campus were brutalised by the state while waiting for the management to address their grievances.

Some of their grievances are as follows
1. To have SRC elections
2. To receive their long awaited allowances

The institution is denying them their democratic right to elect their SRC, they appoint their stooges so that they can easily continue with their corruption.

The EFF sub-regional leadership led by it’s secretary (fighter Mvuyisi Mavatulana) and ward 21 deployee ( fighter Zamile Funda) with PCT member (fighter Busisiwe Mabhedumana) moving with students from Ingwe Tvet college to Lusikisiki magistrate court for the bail hearing of students who were arrested yesterday.

The students are asking for SRC elections, they don’t want the management appointed SRC. They also want their allowances.

The SRCT members led by the sub-regional chair (fighter Mzukisi Qumba) and the sub-regional treasurer (fighter Nomazizi Ngqondeni) with branch leadership of ward 9 conducted an oversight at Diliza H.S.

We discovered a lot of challenges that the institution is facing like shortage of infrastructure, stationery etc. The leadership of the EFF will contact the relevant offices to make sure that those issues are attend as soon as possible.

The SRCT members of Ingquza Hill led by the sub-regional secretary (fighter Mvuyisi Mavatulana) with provincial deployee (fighter Busisiwe Mabhedumana) conducted an oversight visit at Boxer store, Jabula hardware and Fruit&veg at Lusikisiki to assess the number of black-owned local produced products that are being sold.
Total number of employees and number of employees from local.

Shops are encouraged to stock black-owned locally produced products.
