ANC LEKGOLO MAAKE BRANCH CHURCH VISIT

Today, the ANC Lekgolo Maake Branch delegates, led by Branch Chairperson Cde Johannes Mokoena and Branch Secretary Cde Moshikaro Moagi, conducted a successful church visit at Mosorong General Apostolic Church as part of the movement’s ongoing community engagement programme.

The branch leadership was warmly received by the church congregation and used the opportunity to strengthen relations between the ANC and the community while sharing important information on current organisational and national programmes.

During the visit, the ANC encouraged congregants and community members to participate in the upcoming Voter Registration and Verification Weekend scheduled for 20–21 June 2026. Residents were urged to check and confirm their voter registration status, update their details where necessary, and ensure that those who are not yet registered take the opportunity to register and exercise their democratic right to vote.

The ANC remains committed to building strong partnerships with faith-based organisations and communities as we continue working together towards social development, unity, and a better life for all.

[IN PICTURES]Branch Chairperson Johannes Mokwena, who also serves as Ward Councillor, together with Branch Secretary Cde Moshikaro Moagi, joined community members and other mourners later this morning in attending the funeral service of a learner from Serare Senior Secondary School.

The learner tragically lost their life last week after being stabbed by a fellow student. This heartbreaking incident has left the community in deep shock and sorrow.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and the entire school community during this difficult time. May the learner’s soul rest in peace, and may we continue to stand together in condemning violence in our schools and communities.
