Today the 05th of May 2026 we descended to Masutlhe 2 to meet up with Kgosi Legae Lecogo in his Homestead to introduce our Ward 02 Mahikeng Bi-Elections Councillor Candidate(Fighter Keorapetse Daniel Mokgweetsi).
The delegation was led by the Official deployee of the Ward Fighter Karabo Gaoganediwe accompanied by Mahikeng SRCT Secretary Fighter Refentse Motale, Cllr Yvonne Maphazi and Cllr Katlego Kgwadi.
We have made him aware that we are contesting elections. We will be all over the village, in schools, Halls, Clinics and everywhere else where we locate our people. We received a warm welcome, he wished us well and stressed the fact that tribal authority should at all material times limit participation and remain neutral on political matters.

EFF Mafikeng this weekend engaged on a voter registration drive in Mahikeng Ward 2 as part of their campaign for the upcoming by-election.

The people of Ward 2 have assured the EFF volunteers across the ward that the time for change has arrived and the time is now.

All volunteers of the EFF in Mahikeng are encouraged to decedent down to Mahikeng Ward 2 from Unit 15 to Kabe village and ensure that the EFF secures a victory.

Tomorrow we will be registering as many voters as possible.

EFF Mahikeng Sub-Region convened its extended meeting today in the Sub-Regional office.

The meeting was taking stock of the work done in terms of membership recruitment, VDCC establishment and Voter Registration.
The meeting equally welcomed its CCT Deployee Commissar Betty Diale.

You have consistently placed Black people at the centre of the struggle, insisting that the land, dignity, and future must never be compromised. Your leadership continues to inspire a generation to rise, organise, and fight for true emancipation.

A true revolutionary is one who places the oppressed at the forefront and refuses to rest until their dignity is fully restored, and that’s who you are.

We are profoundly grateful for your continuous commitment to empowering Black people, and restoring their dignity.
