Receive our Revolutionary Greetings in Order of ACP Order!!!
As announced that the NWU, Mafikeng Campus SCC elections will commence from 21st-23rd August, SFACP encourages students to participate in choosing relevant leaders by voting. Not just casting a vote but also choosing a relevant candidate that will be a pillar of students and also represent them with honesty.
Every academic year students face challenges that are beyond their control, but fortunate enough to get assistance from some leaders who are committed to helping students. Early this year some Students were defunded by NSFAS, some students were having difficulties with the Norraco payments but there were some leaders who were brave enough to represent students and find solutions to all that.
Now that it is time for students to elect leaders who they think will represent them without any hesitation. The SFACP will like to share words by former President Barack Obama “There’s no such thing as a vote they doesn’t matter. It all matters”
Yet we are aware that many students feels like it is not worth it voting because they are not assisted when they need help from the same people they voted for. it’s time now, time to choose who ever you think is relevant. And also remember your vote matters and can make a CHANGE. We need REAL CHANGE NOW!!!
As the SFACP NWU Mafikeng Branch after engagements and consultations we then took a resolutions to offer our undivided support to the candidates of South African Students Congress (SASCO) and would urge all our members and supporters to cast their votes towards all of them.
In conclusion the SFACP will like to wish every student a good luck on their remaining days of this academic year. And remember a wise man who is a former Vice Chancellor of NWU late Prof Dan Kgwadi always said “Study smart, don’t study hard”.
