The Nandoni Project is the classic case of tenders being awarded, pipes delivered and dumped, but no water.

In Dzumeri village pipes are still lying on the road, gathering dust. Meanwhile, our people are forced to pay R250 for a single tank of water.

This project was budgeted at R900 million when it started in 2014. Today, it has already cost government over R4.5 billion , but the taps are still dry in the 91 villages of Greater Giyani, No one takes responsibility, All they do is play the blame game between Mopani District, and the Department of Water and Sanitation, while communities continue to suffer.

Malamulele contributes BILLIONS to the Kruger National Park economy but our people are forced to drive on roads that look like ploughed fields, this is a painful reality that shows how our people are suffering because of this government and they need GAZA to make a change, Collins Chabane Municipality budgeted over R120 million for roads in 2024/2025 but on the ground there are no contractors, no graders, no machinery, only empty speeches and a blame game while our communities continue to suffer, this is not just service delivery failure but deliberate neglect of our people, people deserve better roads, better services and a government that respects them.

FAILED MUNICIPALITIES ARE KILLING SMALL BUSINESS

Our people are suffering because of this government, Another crisis that is destroying our communities is the delayed payment of municipal suppliers

Small and medium businesses are the backbone of job creation, but they are being suffocated. Municipalities are failing to pay suppliers within the 30 day period as required by law. This has become a norm and It has been reported on various platforms that over 500,000 small businesses have shut down in South Africa. This is a direct attack on job creation and local economic development.

The main cause is the mismanagement of resources and corruption within municipalities. Money meant for services and suppliers disappears, while small business owners who delivered work wait for months without payment. They cannot pay their workers. They cannot grow. They close down and when municipalities fail to pay on time, service delivery also collapses. The same supplier who was not paid will not return to fix the water, clean the streets, or deliver materials. This cycle must end, Gaza will fight for clean governance, 30 day payment compliance, and support for small businesses that create real jobs in our villages

No family should have to divide themselves just to find a place to sleep.

At Magomani village under Collins Chabane municipality, 17 family members share one rondavel, forcing 7 to seek shelter next door every night all while watching their remaining food supply dwindle to just 3 days. The Gaza Democratic Front remains committed to advocating for basic human dignity, secure housing, and food security for every family.

Limpopo is ranked one of the worst provinces for service delivery in South Africa, and people in the deep villages are affected the most. Municipality says vandalism while the community says it's corruption. Most roads are gravel and destroyed by rains. Youth unemployment is 75% in rural areas. Municipality only offers EPWP for 3 months then nothing, Today SASSA grant is used to buy water and other necessities because poverty continues to be the main issue. Government is failing our people they can't even provide basic needs.

Enough is enough. Our people deserve better.

For over 30 years, the people of Olifantshoek have waited for something as basic as water.

They are tired of struggling for water and basic services while promises continue year after year. They say enough is enough , no more empty promises and no more votes for the ANC.

Baloyi Shane, GAZA Councillor Candidate for Ward 01, promises to put the people first and fight for reliable water and proper service delivery.

This is what happens when bridges and roads are neglected, eroded, blocked and dangerous. Learners, patients, and workers are the ones who suffer when basic infrastructure collapses.
Our people should not be living like this in 2026. Gaza demands urgent repairs to restore safe passage.
