Wow! A lion pride coming to drink at a waterhole right next to our vehicle... to quench their thirst after feeding together on a carnivorous meal.

Blue skies and what sounded like dinosaurs were in our back yard. In fact was Hippopotamus🦛
Their calls reach up to 115 decibels—as loud as a rock concert—& carry for several kilometers across the water.🦛When hippos fight or establish dominance (especially bulls in the early morning or night), they emit deep, guttural roars, growls, and heavy wheezing.🦛 Riverbanks and open water bounce these thunderous sounds, making them echo and sound eerie or like a mix of howling and fighting.
