Give a Child a Family Africa believes that Children Belong in Secure Families. For over 30 years, we have been working to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up in a loving, safe, and supportive family environment. Our focus is on prevention and early intervention, strengthening families before crisis leads to separation. We equip parents and caregivers with the skills and support

they need to care for their children, reducing the risk of abandonment, neglect, and institutionalisation. When family preservation is not possible, we work to place children in temporary, safe family care while striving for long-term family solutions. Through advocacy, training, and direct support, we are creating lasting change in child protection—ensuring that children are not only safe today but have hope for a secure future.

💛 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨

For families facing difficult circumstances, receiving a food parcel can provide much-needed relief and help put food on the table when resources are stretched.

Recently, food parcels were delivered to Parenting 4 Life beneficiaries from Gamalakhe, Masinenge and Mkholombe. Two families also received baby clothing, nappies and formula, providing essential support for their little ones. 🍼💛

We are incredibly grateful to FoodForward SA for their generous support, and to everyone who donates goods to GCF. Whether it is food, clothing, nappies, formula or hygiene products, every donation makes a difference. 🙏

There are many vulnerable families in our communities who are in need, and these donations enable us to respond with practical support, care and compassion.

Saturday’s Charity Golf Day was truly something special, and we are so incredibly grateful for the tremendous support we received.

Today, we celebrated another group of enthusiastic children at a local crèche as they completed the 10-lesson Protective Behaviours programme! We are so proud of these little graduates! 🌱 🥳

Protective Behaviours may seem simple with its games, stories and activities, but these are skills that can stay with a child for life. Giving children the confidence to recognise unsafe situations, set boundaries and seek help can make a lasting difference. 💚
