AREA INFORMATION:

Jackalberry Creek borders Lionspruit, and a mere 1.5km away from the mighty Crocodile River. Marloth Parks own private Game reserve which hosts four of Africa’s Big 5. After an exhausting day of game-viewing and other exciting activities, residents return to the luxury of Jackalberry Creek, where they can make use of the on-site braai facilities for a traditional bush braai while the majestic roar of the Lions break the African bushveld silence. Delicious local cuisine is available at the local restaurants.

Marloth Park is a unique holiday wildlife village, and a stopover point for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park, to Mozambique or to Swaziland. Most of the vegetation remained natural, meanwhile, the infrastructure of the natural park is well developed. Marloth Park is separated by a boundary fence and by the Crocodile River from Kruger Park.

Within the park, there are giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, zebra, impala, bushbuck, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey and other small game and a rich bird life. Inside Marloth Park (3,000 hectares), the freedom of movement is remarkable. Movement is not confined to the housing units, and our travelling wanderers can ride a bicycle or go for a walk on their own through the African bush. While walking along the Crocodile River, visitors can watch spectacular wildlife scenes in the adjacent Kruger National Park. Local restaurants, shops and a filling station are easily accessible.
