EFF MDANTSANE SRETF HONOURS WBC WORLD CHAMPION SIYAKHOLWA KUSE

The EFF SRETF of Mdantsane, led by the Buffalo City Metro Coordinator and PCT Member fighter Mziyanda Hlekiso, Sub-regional Coordinator fighter Siya Rumbu visited newly crowned WBC World Champion Siyakholwa Kuse to congratulate him on his historic achievement and for proudly elevating the name of Buffalo City and the Eastern Cape on the international boxing stage.

The leadership commended his discipline, resilience, and determination, describing his triumph as a source of inspiration to young people from working-class communities who continue to overcome difficult social and economic conditions.

The EFF further expressed concern over the failure of the ANC-led Buffalo City Metro executive to give proper recognition and meaningful support to local sporting talent, and reaffirmed its commitment to ensure that all promises made by the municipality towards the champion are honoured.

The EFF in the Eastern Cape invites fighters and friends of fighter Loyiso Mangisa to attend his Memorial and Funeral Services. The Memorial Service will be at Calvary Church in Quigney, KuGompo City (Formerly East London), with the funeral at his home in Mdletyeni Village, Tsomo.

All fighters are encouraged to attend to bid farewell to a soldier of the struggle for Economic Freedom.

The EFF Eastern Cape extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, fighters, and friends of Fighter Loyiso Mangisa, who passed away following an illness.

Fighter Loyiso served as an EFF Sub-Regional Secretary of East London (KuGompo), recently elected in 2025. He was a dedicated activist who consistently stood firm on the side of the poor and most vulnerable communities.
