A Fond Farewell to Mr PS Tromp
Some farewells are harder than others… and this is definitely one of them.
What started as a journey at Middelburg Primary School as a youth worker and counsellor soon became so much more. With his passion, energy, creativity and an undeniable gift for connecting with people, he quickly became an invaluable part of our school family — taking on the roles of LRC mentor to school marketer and events coordinator, and ultimately bringing his tenure to a spectacular close with a truly outstanding and incredibly successful school revue.
Along the way, he somehow managed to creep into countless hearts — leaving laughter, memories, encouragement and a little bit of his magic wherever he went.
His contribution to Middelburg Primary School has been immeasurable, and while we are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved, we know that his biggest and brightest chapters are still waiting to be written.
As he heads off to Pretoria and bigger and better opportunities, we say goodbye with incredibly mixed emotions. We are sad to lose a colleague who became so much more than a colleague, but we are also bursting with pride as we watch him take this exciting next step.
You are leaving very big shoes to fill Mr Tromp, and your absence will most certainly be felt. But more importantly, you leave behind a legacy of caring, creativity, dedication and countless special memories.
Thank you for everything you have given to Middelburg Primary School and to the people who had the privilege of working alongside you. Thank you for believing, creating, organising, encouraging, supporting and, most of all, for simply being you.
May Pretoria welcome you with open arms, may every new opportunity take you closer to your dreams, and may you continue to shine as brightly as you always have.
We are so incredibly proud of you. We will miss you more than words can say, but we are excited to see where this next adventure takes you.
Go well, our very special colleague and friend. Once part of the Middelburg Primary family, always part of the family.
Here’s to bigger dreams, bigger opportunities and an extraordinary future!
