The NYDA, in partnership with PSETA and the Limpopo Office of the Premier, hosted the FETC: New Venture Creation Graduation Ceremony in Lebowakgomo, celebrating the remarkable achievements, dedication, and entrepreneurial growth of young graduates who have completed the programme.

This special occasion marked a significant milestone in the journey of aspiring entrepreneurs who have invested their time and effort in developing the knowledge and skills needed to build sustainable businesses and contribute to economic growth within their communities.

The FETC New Venture Creation Programme is a nationally accredited entrepreneurship qualification (SAQA ID 66249, NQF Level 4) designed to empower young people with the practical tools required to start, manage, and grow successful enterprises. Through the programme, participants gained valuable competencies in business planning, financial management, marketing, leadership, operations management, and other critical aspects of entrepreneurship.

The NYDA has submitted its comments on the Draft Business Licensing Bill, 2026, advocating for a licensing framework that balances regulation with economic inclusion.

For many young South Africans, entrepreneurship is a pathway to income generation, job creation, and economic participation. Any licensing system must therefore be designed to support, rather than hinder, the growth of youth-owned enterprises.

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) has officially opened applications for its Graduate Internship Programme for the 2026/2027 financial year.

This structured, 12-month program provides unemployed South African graduates with valuable work exposure in healthcare regulation, medicine compliance, and public sector operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Matric certificate alongside an appropriate National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, or a closely related field (NQF level 6 or 7) recognised by SAQA.

Stipend: A competitive monthly allowance of R16,666.66.

Duration: 12 Months (fixed-term).

Location: Pretoria.
