[📍IN PICTURES 📷] HONOURING THE MEMORIES OF MS. MATLAKALA PAULINE PILANE
Earlier today, colleagues, friends, family, URC congregation, Clinic Committees representatives and members of the community gathered for a memorial service and shared messages of comfort, support and remembrance for the late Ms. Matlakala Pauline Pilane who served as Acting Project Officer within Moses Kotane Sub-District.
Throughout her professional journey, she worked in the North West Department of Health — a true reflection of her commitment and compassion in providing healthcare services to communities. She also embraced life to the fullest, travelling and exploring diffference places all over the world. Ms. Pilane is remembered as a dedicated colleague and her contribution made a positive impact in Closing the 1.1 Million Treatment Gap. She was also a pillar of encouragement to our dedicated team of Community Health Care Workers, previously known as Care-Givers.
The scripture for comfort and empathy was read from the book of Genesis 12:1-3.
"The Lord had said to Abram, go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you".
Ms. Pilane will be laid to rest on Saturday, 15 August 2026 and the funeral service will be held at JM Ntsime Secondary School, Mogwase Unit 5 North.
🕊 May her memories and legacy continue to inspire a spirit of service delivery, compassion and excellence. 🕊
