The KZN Legislature Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mmabatho Tembe, at the DA Women's Network (DAWN) KZN event yesterday to close Women’s Month in Ward 16-Nazareth Hall.

The event was filled with women coming together to celebrate, connect and remind one another of something we sometimes forget, there is room for all of us to rise.

Hon. Tembe was with DAWN KZN Chairperson-Remona McKenzie-where they shared a simple but powerful message: women must continue to support one another, open doors for one another and celebrate each other’s progress.

Women’s Month may be ending, but the sisterhood, the support and the work of lifting one another must continue every day.
